Help us Preserve the Past & Secure the Future
The Appleton West Auditorium has been a fixture in the community for the past 85 years. The school was founded in 1915 under the name Appleton Senior High School, but the current facility was constructed in 1938, and the name was changed to West High in 1967 following the construction of Appleton East High School. The Appleton West Auditorium was also home to the community theatre and community movie theater. It continues to be a beautiful space in our community.
But as the saying goes, "They just don't make 'em like that anymore". Since its construction, the auditorium has had some upgrades:
1978- Remodel to include electrical/HVAC/plumbing
1996- Lighting upgrade
2000- Sound system upgrade
2005- Seating upgrade
2023- Phase 1 of Lighting upgrade

Our "Preserve the past & Secure the Future" Theatre Upgrade Campaign is a fundraising initiative aimed at keeping beloved local theater a state-of-the-art cultural hub. With a vision to enrich Appleton West's and the community's experience, we seek to raise funds for essential renovations and technological enhancements.
